Privacy notice
How Mosaic Magic handles website information.
This notice applies to the Mosaic Magic website and its enquiry, quotation and EFT order-request forms. It should be reviewed and approved by the business’s information officer or legal adviser before production launch.
Last updated: 2026.
1. Who is responsible for the information?
Mosaic Magic operates this website. For privacy questions, requests or complaints relating to website information, contact sales@mosaicmagic.co.za.
2. Information collected through the website
When you submit an enquiry or order request, the website may collect your name, business name, email address, town or city, requested package, workstation count and the message or notes you provide. The server stores a shortened cryptographic hash of the request IP address to help identify abuse; it does not deliberately store your raw IP address in the lead or order record.
3. Why the information is used
- To respond to your enquiry or demonstration request.
- To prepare and follow up a quotation or EFT order request.
- To confirm requested software-package and implementation details.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse.
- To send product or service updates only where you opt in through the optional marketing checkbox.
4. Consent and direct marketing
The website requires a privacy-notice confirmation before an enquiry or order request is submitted. Marketing consent is optional and is not preselected. You may withdraw optional marketing consent by contacting sales@mosaicmagic.co.za.
5. Storage, access and security
Website enquiry and order records are stored in the website’s protected server data area and are intended to be accessible only to authorised Mosaic Magic staff who need them for sales, support, administration or legal obligations. The live production website should be hosted over HTTPS, with server access and backups restricted to authorised personnel.
6. Retention
Enquiries are configured for deletion after 12 months. Order requests are configured for deletion after 60 months, unless a longer period is reasonably required for an active customer relationship, accounting, legal or dispute-resolution purpose. The business should maintain and review its broader retention schedule before launch.
7. Sharing and tracking
The current website does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers and does not collect card-payment details. Information is not sold. The website may use service providers only where needed to host, secure, back up or operate the service, subject to suitable controls.
8. Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete website information held about you, subject to applicable legal and record-retention obligations. Send a request to sales@mosaicmagic.co.za with enough detail to identify the relevant record.
9. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, its service providers or data practices change. The current version will be published on this page.
